Dr. Yingfang Yuan is a Research Fellow working with Dr. Wei Pang in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. He spent the first year of his Ph.D. study at Aberdeen University and then completed his Ph.D. at Heriot-Watt University in 2023. He received an MSc in Big Data and High-Performance Computing from the University of Liverpool in 2017. Yingfang has research interests in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a particular emphasis on Graph Neural Networks and AutoML. Additionally, he is interested in Blockchain technology and trustworthy AI. Yingfang also has experience in entrepreneurship, applying AI techniques to solve real-world problems.
